Helping Families In Crisis
Since 1985, Operation Warm Heart has provided nearly $2.4 million to about 11,000 limited-income families in crisis to help pay their electric bills. These recipients can barely make ends meet, but don’t qualify for other government programs that could help them pay their winter bills.
We’re here to help
For customers in financial crisis, Operation Warm Heart can help. The program is funded by donations from customers, employees, local businesses and with the proceeds from the annual Race for Warmth. These generous donations provide a perpetual source of funding to help limited-income families. It’s easy to make a difference for local families in need: Simply add a tax-deductible contribution to Operation Warm Heart along with your monthly utility payment, or make a one-time online donation.

“My family and I would like to thank you for the help that was provided with the electric bill. It was a blessing for us to be able to participate in this program. Once again, Thank you!”
